Orange County's Drone Cleaning Company
We're a locally-owned team of FAA-certified pilots who believe nobody should hang off a building to wash it. Here's where we came from — and what we stand for.
It Started With a Building Wrapped in Scaffolding
A few years ago we watched a five-story Irvine office spend an entire week wrapped in scaffolding. Blocked entrances. A six-figure facade bill. Crews hanging on ropes a hundred feet up. All of it — just to wash windows.
We kept asking the obvious question: why is anyone risking a fall, and why is anyone paying for a week of rented steel, when the technology to do this from the ground already exists?
Nobody had a good answer. So we built the better way ourselves: industrial cleaning drones, FAA-certified pilots, and purified-water systems that deliver the same spot-free result in a day — with every person involved standing safely on the ground. That company became SkyShine USA, and that question still drives every job we fly.
Four Principles We Don't Bend On
Safety Is Non-Negotiable
Falls are the number one cause of construction fatalities, and nobody should risk one to clean glass. Our pilots never leave the ground — that's the whole point of the company.
Honesty Over Upsells
If traditional cleaning is genuinely cheaper for your one-story building, we'll say so and point you to it. We'd rather earn your tall buildings later than oversell you today.
Local First
We live here, from Anaheim to San Clemente. We know what salt air does to coastal glass, how stucco holds grime, and why nobody should ever walk on clay tile.
Show Your Work
Every job comes with 4K footage and a post-job aerial report of your roof and facade. You see exactly what we did and exactly what condition your building is in.
Certified, Insured & Cleared to Fly
Drone cleaning done right is a regulated aviation operation. We treat it like one.
- FAA Part 107 certified pilots — every commercial flight is flown by a federally certified remote pilot.
- $1M+ aviation & general liability insurance — certificates of insurance available before work begins.
- Fully licensed to operate as an exterior cleaning business in California.
- LAANC airspace authorization handled for jobs near John Wayne (SNA), Fullerton and Los Alamitos airspace.
- Strict weather minimums — we don't fly in rain or high wind, and we reschedule at no charge.
- Satisfaction guarantee — if a section isn't right, we come back and fix it.
A Young Company in a Young Industry — On Purpose
Drone cleaning barely existed five years ago, and we think being early is an advantage: we fly the latest generation of equipment, we carry no legacy habits from the scaffolding era, and every process we run was designed for drones from day one — not retrofitted around them.
